How do I donate items?

Donations can be dropped off at our yard between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, seven days a week.

For larger items, we offer a collection service on Wednesdays and Thursdays, subject to availability. Please note that collections are reserved for items of significant value or volume, and all items must be in clean, resaleable condition.

Our team reserves the right to decline collection if items do not meet our quality standards upon arrival. To avoid any inconvenience, please review our list of accepted and non-accepted items before requesting a collection.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule a collection, feel free to contact us.

Where can I park?

We have parking spaces available in the Old Station Yard car park, just a short walk from R.I.O. This car park also has two electric vehicle charging points if you need them.

You’re also welcome to use the main town car park at Canaan Way, Fairmile Lane, Ottery St Mary. Parking here is a great option if you’d like to have a wander around Ottery St Mary, with its lovely independent shops, cafés, and local spots such as The Tumbling Weir, a popular riverside walk.

Just a small note — the parking spaces in front of the funeral directors next to us are reserved for their staff and clients, so we kindly ask that visitors don’t park there. Thank you so much for understanding
